Based in a historic building located in Whittlesey, the church aims to become a dynamic growing hub in the heart of the Fenlands. OLA produced a landscape scheme for the planned extension along with a new corten steel sculptural signage.
Lighthouse Sculpture
Corten Sculpture - Weathered and exposed the corten steel symbolises the passing of time for those who put trust in the coming of Christ, who are to be strong and stable under the pressure of the world. The coloration of the steel ties in with the red brick arches above the windows
Planting - Buxus topiary surround the lighthouse representing soft tactile rocksLighting - PV Lighting positioned behind the sculpture illuminates the churches location for all to see
