Front Garden

Cloud pruned Buxus frames loosely planted seasonal bulbs and perennials that flower continually throughout the year. The colour palette visually lifts the front of the property whilst Philadelphus 'Belle Etoile', Lavandula angustifolia 'Rosea' and wire trained Wisteria sinensis f. alba provides a welcomed scent.

Rear Garden

The previous  conventionally suburban landscape blocked out views of the surrounding setting. The newly planted design opens up views and establishes flowing sequences from the rear open plan extension reconnecting the residence with the surrounding mature landscape. The generous lawn grades up to the sculptural planted sunken entertaining area. Vegetable beds are curtained with privet hedging that frames the planting throughout the scheme. The existing orchard to the rear is retained and bolstered by additional fruit trees with a newly planted meadow on the ground plane using chalk loving plants and bulbs, stitching the property to the landscape beyond.
